Long description | 341 Tragbares Densitometer (Durchlicht) The 341 Portable Transmission Densitometer concentrates the bestfeatures of a tabletop densitometer inside a compact, portable, and economical hand held unit.We designed the 341 as a completely selfcontained instrument able to take measurements anywhere you need. A Solid Performer The X Rite 341 includes a calibrated, internal light source. It meets global standards for geometry of a transmission densitometer, including proper diffusion of the light source, enabling true measurement values. The 341 measures density and dot area with extraordinary accuracy — in fact, it’s capable of measuring densities greater than 5.0D.The model 341 includes a calibration reference that is traceable to ISO standards for transmission densitometry. Density and Dot Area Applications The 341 can be used to make dot area and density measurements quickly and easily. The density function is useful for evaluating and setting the exposure of any imagesetting system, positive or negative. Use it to verify the Dmax of your films, ensuring light blocking film properties when making proofs or printing plates. The dot area function is useful for verifying screen tint values from contact films, duplicate films, or originals. It can zero on the film base, and accurately measure from 0 to 100 percent. It is handy and easy to use in linearizing or calibrating the tone value of any imagesetter. Need More Functionality? Consider pairing the 341 with our popular 500 Series Spectrodensitometer to create unique capabilities (see side bar). This combined system has the ability to measure solid and screened areas of your images on both film and paper. The compact and rugged 341 also includes rechargeable Ni Cad batteries and a power supply, to deliver hours of cordless operation. Also included is a carrying case for storage of the 341 when you travel. Model 341 Benefits: • Ideal for all graphic arts film applications, from quality control to calibration. • Extraordinary accuracy when measuring density and dot area. • Able to measure densities greater than 5.0D for use with high density linear films. • Conforms to ANSI PH2.19 and ISO 5/2 standards for transmission densitometry. • Simple to operate and easy to hold. • Provides pre press operators with fast, accurate feedback to verify film quality and minimize waste. • Can be complemented with X Rite 500 Series Reflection Densitometer to measure solid and screened areas on both film and paper. • Backed by X Rite’s world class service and application support teams. Model 341Features: • Completely self contained operation. No independent power supply or light source required. • Built in light table lets you quickly find the right area for measurement. • Long lasting batteries enable you to make hundreds of measurements before recharging the unit. • Comes with four long life, rechargeable Ni Cad AA batteries. • High contrast LCD display that is easy to see and easy to use. • Includes 2mm, and 3mm apertures allowing measurement of a variety of film line screen rulings. • Directly measures density and percent dot area. (690 g) Safety & Compliance UL, CUL CE FCC Class A 500 Series Spectrodensitometers: Spectral technology has begun revolutionizing the graphic arts industry Why? Because it offers significant advantages over existing technologie —primarily, it delivers density and colorimetry in a single instrument. Spectrally Based 500 Series models feature a high resolution spectrophotometric engine that supplies the most accurate information available. X Rite’s spectral technology allows the highest level of inter instrument agreement available today. Large Interactive Display Large, crisp graphic display configurable for left or right handed operation. Display allows menu commands in multiple languages (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish). New User Interface An intuitive key pad uses universally understood up/down arrow keys and a select key to navigate menu items. For efficiency, we also included a “back up†key and an “escape†key, which takes users back to the main menu. Upgradeable All instruments in the 500 Series are firmware upgradeable. You can easily add functionality as your needs change maintaining the value of your investment. New Ergonomic Design All of our new hand held instruments apply ergonomic concepts to fit naturally in your hand. The targeting shoe clearly pinpoints the measurement area so users get the right measurement every time. Rugged Construction 500 Series instruments absorb the inevitable bumps of everyday use The 500 Series carries the tradition of the 400 Series as being the most durable instrument in the industry. You get years of reliable performance. |
