With pdfLayerMaker introduces callas completely new tools whose possibilities you had to renounce up to now. The tool closes a known and often demanded functional gap in Adobe Acrobat the possibility to generate levels directly in PDFs. pdfLayerMaker there is topically for Acrobat 6, a version will be also available for the announced Acrobat 7. The plug in can be installed under Mac OS X as well as under Windows 2000 and XP.
Till present PDF knew no levels at most those which were taken over from other uses with the PDF export with (e.g., from InDesign CS). Side objects like texts, graphics, pictures, colours, colour rooms or transparencies lays callas pdfLayerMaker on the basis of provided profiles in each case on own levels which can be faded in or faded out afterwards straight. Own profiles can be also used even on the basis of existing Preflight profiles from Acrobat as level profiles. As in photo shop and InDesign these can be faded in and fade out, extinguished, infer with each other, join and in every arrangement are economical.
Additional insertable background levels, as grid lines or coloured surfaces, provide for lighter identifying of objects. Besides, the original file is preserved always consistently, because pdfLayerMaker every new level combination always puts in as a PDF copy.
