Preps
Preps is the complete digital Ausschießlösung for Mac or Windows. Preps offers highly competitive functions with the curve assembly, integrated colour dissolution possibilities, the processing of preseparated or Composite to PostScript and PDF data, contains a PostScript preview on the basis of PostScript 3 and can be integrated into every workflow.
File format and workflow support
Preps supports the takeover of PDF, JDF , PostScript , EP, DCS , Tiff files from more than 120 DTP uses. Different data springs (also separated or unseparated data) can be mixed in one single job arbitrarily. With it Preps offers a very big variety of the data formats which can be processed one of the most important conditions for a professional programme for the processing of foreign data and absolute condition for the company of a computer to Plate or computer to Pressing workflows. In addition, Preps supports all modern workflow systems, like Kodak (Creo) Brisque, Agfa Apogee X, Prinergy, Prinergy Evo, Rampage, Harlequin rep with JDF Support as well as other workflow systems JDF.
Preps Per and Preps XL also contain special functions for the control of Xerox Docutech, Docuprint and DocuColor to devices. The Windows versions of Preps XL and Per also process DigiPath 3 and 4 RDO files.
Native PDF support: PDF purely PDF out
Preps offers you the most modern technologies for the PDF workflow integration. Detailed PDF files are preserved and can be exported without conversion to PostScript ausgeschossen and as complete pressure curves with all pressure brands again as a PDF. JDF (job definition format)
The JDF format is a file format basing on XML and corresponds to the job definition format CIP4. It builds up on the format CIP3 Print Production (PPF) and Adobe job ticket format and is compatible with these. JDF is the coming standard data format which can provide any work routines and comprehensive job descriptions.
PJTF (Adobe Portable job ticket format)
This format also permits the imbedding of specific data specific for order and specific for workflow and offers the possibility to export edge data CIP3 embedded in an Adobe job ticket for POLAR MOOR Â Compucut systems (only in Preps Per)
PPF (Print Production format)
A format which is planned for the export of separate edge data CIP3 (only Preps Per).
Available languages and platforms
