The ICColor makes sense everywhere where with the up to now available technology bottlenecks have appeared with the Einmessen of ICC Targets. Now plentiful construction of ICC profiles for pressure processes are no more problem. On account of the compact construction method is suitable of the ICColor also for the service application.
The measuring speed is very high. The time factor with a small Target with 288 patches does not count practically (duration approx. 3 min from inserting the Targets till the end measuring value transference). An ECI2002 Target with at least 1485 measuring patches is distributed on account of his size depending on the issue device to several charts. If one works with a large format printer, the Target can be spent with a maximum width of about 12 cm absolutely as a stripe with a length of 75 cm and be measured automatically. On compact printers the Targets are simply divided. Thus an ECI2002 Target exists for an A3 printer of two, for an A4 printer from four parts.
The system about USB (in PC or Mac) or serial (only is connected to PC). The tension care occurs about an external net part. After the connection with the stream net a short selfinitialization automatically occurs. Then it is ready for use of the ICColor.
About a built in LCD screen the system can be also used off line, because measuring values can be filed in memory belonging to device and be called away about the display. Nevertheless, sensible is the application with the ProfileMaker which allows to the ICColor to unfold his full efficiency. ICColor and Profilemaker are a highly competitive team and permit how quite wide on top described to produce ICC profiles on the production line.
