Long description | Harlequin HQ RIP 7.1 Sprache: deutsch The Harlequin RIP is acknowledged as having market leading performance. It was first used in a production system in 1989 and todays RIP is a direct descendent which has been tried and tested by scores of original equipment manufacturers and hundreds of thousand of installations worldwide. Its speed, flexibility and rich set of features, coupled with open architecture, means that Global Graphics customers can build a vast array of Harlequin RIP based workflow solutions. The latest generation of the Harlequin RIP is the Genesis Release™ (version 7.1) offers important new features for print operations of all sizes including: native compatibility with PDF 1.6; an advanced font emulation capability for time critical applications such as newspapers and print on demand; simple in RIP imposition for two up and four up conventional printing and digital print; support for PDF/X 1a:2003 and PDF/X 3:2003 and the JDF 1.2 specification; performance increase to both non color managed and color managed setups; and, support for Macintosh OS X (10.4).
