Long description basICColor print4c

No matter what light – create the correct profile!
If you want to make a safe prediction what the colors will look like on your press sheet, you need ICC profiles for printing press and proof printer. You can create both fast and easily with basICColor print4c. basICColor print4c also offers a very complete range of ink utilization parameters to control: total ink limit, maximum black, black starting point, black curve shape, GCR in grays and GCR in colors. Device specific instabilities like in laser printers will be compensated by post linearzing the original profile.
If you make separations for package printing, LFP or fine art printing, you have to take varying viewing conditions into account. With a standard ICC profile, you do not get far. basICColor print4c lets you create ICC profiles for any viewing condition. Standard illuminants can be selected from a menu, individual illuminants can be measured with basICColor display and a spectrophotometer – the spectral distribution of the light source will be calculated into the profile. Spectral measurements for the printer target can be obtained with basICColor catch (spectral option). The spectral profile will correct the print for your specific viewing condition.

Features:

basICColor print4c creates ICC profiles for CMYK printers
Spectral profiles for different viewing conditions requires spectral data
Pre linearization of targets (Mac only)
Post linearization of profiles (Mac only)
Targets: basICColor target with 1248 color patches, IT8.7/3, ECI 2002, GMG TC4, third party profiling targets…
